Kari Trajer Morgan

Design Director at Westbrook Interiors

I am an experienced and creative interior designer and project manager, with a real flair in transforming spaces for my clients, both in residential and retail settings and to capitalise on the booming self-catering and Airbnb marketplaces. I offer a collaborative approach for my residential, investment or commercial clients, working to know what their design aesthetic is, rather than utilising a “one size fits all” approach.

My interest in interior design goes back a long way, from growing up in an 70’s architect designed “A frame” glass house in Bayside Melbourne, which then led to my 20 year career in residential property in the high end London property market which then led to me becoming a long time serial property renovator and space changer and holiday let creator, living the dream in the Herefordshire countryside.

To me, interior design is about so much more than matching cushions to curtains, it’s taking a 360 degree view of the proposed space, and how it’s used and who uses it and then creating fully curated plan of the period features, the lighting, the objects and furniture, the colour plan, the décor and artwork, the flooring options, adaptability for now and future use, the materials and surface finishes and more so that the space becomes the best version of itself, for the client or guest that will use and enjoy the space. I design sustainably and ethically and look to reuse or repurpose existing good quality materials where feasible. I also freecycle or donate old fittings and materials to charities or the local community where possible.

But that’s enough about me. This is about you and your own interior design journey, which I would love to learn more about.. So please connect with me to talk through your proposed project with no obligation!
